A company called Alternative Fuel Distributors Inc. said in a press release last week that it plans to build and operate 1,000 convenience stores along the U.S. East Coast that will sell only E85 and other alternative automotive fuels. www.prnewswire.com
As the company noted, this would represent a big increase in the number of locations in the U.S. that sell E-85, which is a blend of 85% ethanol to 15% gasoline and is intended for so-called flex-fuel vehicles.
The company said its convenience stores would be located between New York and Washington, DC.
