A company called EarthLED says it has started selling a 13 Watt light emitting diode (LED) light bulb that can substitute for a 100 Watt incandescent bulb. www.enn.com
This would be really big news, except for the fact that the bulb costs about $90.
Still, once upon a time, computers and cell phones were darn expensive. In the blink of an eye, 13 Watt LEDs could be cost competitive.
Until Monday.
