England’s Independent newspaper has carried an exclusive report which is, but shouldn’t be, a shock.

The article is about a “methane time bomb” taking shape as deadly methane gas bubbles to the surface of the Arctic Ocean through cracks in the seabed. www.independent.co.uk

As the story notes, methane is a greenhouse gas 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide.

This isn’t really a shock because scientists have been warning for years that it could happen.

Investors should take note that all this could delay or even end efforts in Norway and elsewhere for carbon sequestration beneath the sea.

Until tomorrow.
